Mr. Justin Brown
Justin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Utah, graduating Magna Cum Laudi and Cum Laudi respectively. To pay for his tuition, Mr. Brown organized and created his first business, A Cut Above the Rest Lawn Care, Inc. While this company began as a simple property maintenance business, Mr. Brown quickly grew his company into a full landscape installation and maintenance company. In one short year, Mr. Brown grew his sales by more than 100% and expanded into several divisions of Landscape Construction. Mr. Brown managed the installation of numerous landscape projects, managed and maintained over 60 properties, and employed several landscape crews and employees. After graduating from college, Justin sold his company.
With skills in project management and a knack for dealing with people, Mr. Brown partnered with his brother, Dave Brown, and created a construction company that has built many high-end custom homes, including two award winning homes for the Salt Lake Valley Parade of Homes.
Throughout his career in both landscape construction and custom home building, Mr. Brown has used his organizational skills and business experience in consulting other business owners helping uncover potential problems and creating means for greater profitability. With a passion for creating disciplined companies with great potential, Mr. Brown is adept at Business Management and Administration. With great analytical skills and principled optimism, Mr. Brown has the ability to create profitable, well-managed businesses that continue to grow and succeed over time. Justin is Vice President of Operations and co-founder of Lake City Capital.
